Promoting sustainable paddy farming to achieve the SDGs

Challenges and Innovations for Sustainable Paddy Agriculture with Climate Resilience and/or Ecosystem Services have been adopted in numerous regions and countries by governments, businesses and civil society. Paddy-based agriculture has a crucial role to play in achieving sustainable agriculture through its capacity to shape rural livelihood and the environment.

PAWEES, a world leading member of the international network of professional organizations aiming to improve paddy based agriculture and the water environment, invites to PAWEES2025 in Morioka to exchange knowledge and discuss current issues of importance for sustainable paddy agriculture.
